Status and Constitution

Kingscare Fostering Agency is an independent limited company, trading as Kingscare Fostering Agency. It is based in Mitcham, Surrey. Kingscare is committed to providing quality care and raising a standard in the care for children/young people placed with its Foster Carers by Local Authorities. The Agency is run by professionals who have relevant experience in the field of social work and social care for significantly long periods.

Kingscare fostering agency understand the need to provide good and high quality care in a family setting for all children and young people who have experienced trauma in their lives and work very hard to reunite them back to their birth families where practicable. We are committed towards helping children & young people who have been abused and suffering its effects to begin to rebuild their lives once again by providing good quality foster carers. Kingscare is committed to provide environment that will enable children, young people, mother/baby to begin to strive to build positive image.

Kingscare Fostering Agency believe that children and young people have the right to a family life that is safe, warm, caring, loving and adequate for their needs, that children should be supported towards reunification with their families. Some of the children placed with our foster carers have abused, as such traumatised as a consequence of their abuse. Some of them live with ADHD, Autism, global needs, challenging behaviour, sexual abused and experienced domestic violence as such need help to begin to heal which takes a lot of patience, commitment, understanding, skills and ability to work with the child’s family, CAMHS and other professionals involved in the child’s live in meeting their health needs.

With adequate consistent, safe, stable and secure family environment, children/young people placed with Kingscare carers will begin to strive to rebuild their lives. The children / Young people, mothers and their babies placed with our carers are supported, encouraged and helped to achieve their full potential, which in turn help to enhance their self esteem and help to lay adequate personal foundation to their future.

About Kingscare foster carers / teams

Our Foster Carers are part of a very special team, some of whom have undertaken specialist / therapeutic training prior to their approval.

Staff and foster carers comprises of people from various background, ethnicity, race, race, culture and religion. Some of them are professional people such as social workers, consultants, solicitors, IRO, IT specialist, support workers, housing, child care officers, Residential officers, Health, teachers, that ensure that children’s needs are met. Fostering can be demanding but also rewarding, as well as seen as a journey which can often be unpredictable.

At Kingscare fostering, we provide foster carers with step by step advice and guidance on how to address every matter that might arise from the need of the child placed in their care. We provide regular supervision, support group to help the group and to exchange ideas as well as serve as a social support net work.
